Two upcoming projects are in the planning stages – one would probably be contract direct with a client (greenlighted) and the other would be through Performance Design on a different client project (expected to be a go – but pending confirmation); opportunities may exist to work on both projects.  Both projects are powertrain/engine design in nature and include heavy modifications to existing architecture as well as clean sheet design.  If you or anyone you know might be a good fit please contact me or forward this information to them.  Any references would be much appreciated.

Both projects will last 6 – 12 month and we are looking for someone that can do full time (or close to it) but will probably need extra capacity beyond that and will consider a mixture of talent/schedule availability in case anyone moonlights.   Both are tentatively scheduled to begin in 4-8 weeks.  Most work would probably be completed from your own location/home/office but periodic meetings or off-site work may be required.  Weekly design reviews will occur via Webex or Fuze meetings.

All work will be in SolidWorks 2010.  Candidates must have a good solid modeling base, an understanding of engine components and how they would be manufactured; no training is available in this project.

Requirements:

·         Must have a knowledge of engine components and operation
